Dr. Adewale Lateef Ogunbadejo, a Prince of The Soungbade Royal Family of Ososa and Anikilaya Ruling House of Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, is a graduate of The University of Ibadan Medical School. He is a Member, Nigerian Medical Association, Fellow, Association of General and Private Medical Practitioners of Nigeria], The First Treasurer of AGPMPN, Shomolu Branch, Lagos, Active member, AGPMPN, Lagos State Branch, Member, Health Care Providers Association of Nigeria, Lagos Branch and Member, WONCA [ World Organization of Family Doctors].
As a rotarioan, Dr Ogunbadejo is a Charter member of Rotary Club of Gbagada South. He served in several Committees of the Club and won a number of awards: 2nd in The Rotary Foundation Giving, 3rd in Community Service, 3rd Best Club overall and held the following awards at the District level: Vice- Chairman, Paul Harris Fellows Night, Member, Rotary Community Corps Committee, Member, District Governor’s Installation Committee, Secretary, On to Salt Lake City Convention, Treasurer, District Governor’s Installation Committee, District Secretary, Assistant Governor and District Governor.
An excellent fund raiser and mobilizer of human and material resources, Wale as he is fondly called, was able to use his diverse contacts to attract the sum $40,000.00(Forty Thousand Dollars) to the coffers of The Rotary Foundation.
Major supporter of youth activities with many awards from the District 9110 Rotaract and Interact Committees.
An accomplished Medical Doctor, Wale is a philanthropist who has sponsored so many orphans, indigent and physically-challenged youths through various stages of their educational, professional and vocational lives.
He is married to his heart throb, Olufunmilayo and the marriage is blessed with children & grand-children.
He is a Past President of Fs Club, a socio-philanthropic organisation in Lagos with a collection of some of the most upwardly-mobile and influential Nigerians.
He is also a Founding Member of The Oasis Association; a Philanthropic organization, with the sole aim of bringing succor to the less-privileged in our society.
His hobbies include Table Tennis, Chess, Reading and Listening to Classical Music.
